Land, Sea, Air

During the Marines 250th, Marine aviation can showcase their specialty, Vertical Takeoff and Landing aircraft, on the visiting Marine aviation vessels and locations on the banks of the Delaware.

Marine F-35B Lightning IIs, AV-8B Harrier IIs, MV-22 Ospreys, CH-53 Super and King Stallions, UH-1 Iroquois, and AH-IZ Viper helicopters could demonstrate their ability to take off and land straight up and down. F/A-18 Hornets and KC-130 Super Hercules could perform flyovers, hopefully joined by historic Marine aircraft such as the F4U Corsair and A-4 Skyhawk. Marine hovercraft and amphibious vehicles could demonstrate modern methods of carrying Marines from sea to land. In addition, helicopters and fixed wing aircraft could be on static display in Camden or Philadelphia, adding to the aerial 250th celebrations. We are working with the Marines to determine the precise aircraft types that will join the party!
