The celebrations of the Navy and Marine Corps 250th will be major national media events - the opening act of the Semiquincentennial - and is already attracting attention in the media.

The spectacular assembly of Navy ships from every major war, the long-awaited recreation of the birthplace of the Marine Corps, and the varied celebrations at the iconic historic sites where our Nation was founded, will provide exciting news events and riveting visual images for national and local media, whether in print, for broadcast, or on the internet. Homecoming 250 Keynotes Navy Commemoration

At the Pearl Harbor Ceremony onboard the Battleship New Jersey, Chair George Leone outlined Homecoming 250's plans to celebrate the Navy and Marine Corps 250th birthdays in 2025, and got an enthusiastic response.

Homecoming 250 Hosts Navy Secretaries at its Fall Event

Secretaries of the Navy Kenneth Braithwaite and John Lehman greeted Homecoming 250 supporters, including Silver Star recipient Bill Moy. Mr. Lehman and Chair George Leone spoke about the Navy and Marine Corps 250th!
